Unexpected (Lei-Lani)

She WAS about to surface... Who is that? Does she know him? What will happen next?

Well, I could certainly come up with a story, but I happen to know the person I made this for is capable of imagining it herself much better than I could write it down. Since she's a writer and all, and a pretty good one too. I really find it too bad I rarely have the time and peace of mind to sit down and read stories. I'm sooo behind on her gallery!

Anyway this is gift art for Lei-Lani (on FA). Once, a very long time ago (4 years?) she asked me if I would draw an underwater scene for her with her 'sona. I told her I might, if my muse gives me inspiration. Apparently my muse works slowly.

Done October 2012. I'm really happy with this one! The pose, her curves, the angle of her face, I never drew bubbles before, and I almost got her feet right, and the background I'm pretty happy with too.

I've seen some stunning artwork come by of Lei-Lani's 'sona over time, I hope this one is up to standard. I certainly did my best! Hope you like it, Lani~!!
